The seventh principle of GOD about warfare seems being of one mind, not a house divided about the goals, and to try negotiating to avoid war with offerings of food and service.  It is written, 'that they gathered themselves together to fight with Joshua, and with Israel, with one accord. And when the inhabitants of Gibeon heard what Joshua had done unto Jericho, and to A-i, they did work wilily, and went and made as if they had been Ambassadors, and took old sacks upon their donkeys and wine bottles,  old and rent [torn up]and bound up; and old shoes and clouted them upon their feet and old garments upon them;  and and all the bread of their provision was dry and mouldy. And they went to Joshua unto the camp at Gilgal and said unto him, and to the men of Israel, 'we be come from a far country, now therefore make ye a league with us'. And the men of Israel said unto the Hivites, 'peradventure ye dwell among us,and how shall we make leaque with you ? " And they said unto Joshua, 'we are thy servants. ' And Joshua said unto them, 'who are ye? and from whence come ye?" And they said unto him, 'from a very far country thy servants are come because of THE NAME of THE LORD, thy GOD; for we have heard the fame of HIM, and all that HE did in Egypt, and all that HE did to the two Kings of the Amorites that were beyond Jordan, to Sihon King of Heshbon, and to Og King of Ba-shan, which was at Ash-ta-roth. Wherefore our elders and all the inhabitants of our country spake to us, sayng, 'take victuals with you for the journey, and go to meet them, and say unto them, 'we are your servants; therefore now make ye league with us.' Joshua 9:2-11

The eight principle of GOD is in a war, to be strong of will, have courage as it is written,  'and Joshua said unto them, 'fear not, nor be dismayed, be strong and of good courage, for thus shall THE LORD do to all your enemies against whom ye fight. " Joshua 10: 25

The ninth principle of GOD concerning warfare seems to be to disable the horses [transportation] of the enemy,  and burn their "chariots"/vehicles with fire, to gain the advantage as it is written,''And THE LORD said unto Joshua, 'be not afraid because of them, for tomorrow about this time, will I deliver them up all slain before Israel; thou shalt hock their horses, and burn their chariots with fire." Joshua 11: 6. I think this must be the principle that President Abraham Lincoln and Ulysses T Sherman followed in the Civil War when they burned a wide swath of farm land and took possession of horses, carriages, ammunition from Atlanta to the sea, in the Civil War in the U.S.

There are dozens more Scriptures about warfare but I have to take a rest. I will add more later. This is an important topic for GOD's people and for all people to learn the Military Strategies of GOD HIMSELF as HE caused to be written down for all our sakes.
